I've tried several times to change the name of the blog to Life on the Water. It seems to happen, then goes away. . .must be my error. We splashed Konocti Bay Tuesday after 8 months of being out of the water "on the hard". As Ed was in the boat when it was backing in, I was on land with Hydro taking photos. A couple came up and began talking. The man asked how long it was out of the water. When I answered, he shook his head and said that's just too long and you will have tremendous problems. Just then, both engines fired on the first try and Ed went to check the engine room before giving LeRoy the thumbs up to drop him the rest of the way into the water. As we checked out systems and filled the water tank, we did find one leaky valve, changed it and no other problems yet.
